Respect: Key to a Healthy Community

Community Building Tip: Respect is a key to a good relationship between you and your board.

Respect your posters. Ok, at least behave. You can yell and scream all you like at your monitor...I wont tell. But, when it comes down to posting on your board, be sure your post shows respect. Dont let emotions get the better of you. If you think your post is an emotional reaction, save it. Walk away from the computer. Then come back to it later. You may decide to post it. You may decide to rewrite, toning down language and emotions.

Respect the Terms of Service. The terms of service are for everyone, even you. ESPECIALLY you! Cls should make sure that their behavior demonstrates not only the words of TOS, but also the spirit behind them. Dont let a member come back after having her post removed to argue that hers was ok, because this very similar post of yours was not.

Your words reflect who you are as a person. Make sure you like that reflection.
